I have schedules, our calendar, children's artwork, pictures, school lunch menu, babysitter info, award ribbons, and that's just to name a few things.
So go on over and let's see what's on your refrigerator!

When I was teaching, we always had Friday FUN. So that's what I am calling my Friday posts. Before the FUN begins, we have water and normal water pressure. Until last night, we were still trying to take showers under a trickle. Boy, times like these make you appreciate the little things.
Now for the FUN. Tomorrow Bruster's Ice Cream is having Pajama Day. If you go and wear your pjs (can be just pj bottoms from what I understand), you get a free waffle cone. Guess where my family is going to be tomorrow night? All 6 of us are getting ready for bed and going to get ice cream. I think the kids will love it but not too sure about my dear hubby.
Tomorrow Zman is racing his pinewood derby car. He has worked so hard on it and it looks great. Just so happens, I have a picture. Of course it is patterned after the Grave Digger monster truck.
Gman has a piano festival so we are going to rush back after the festival and see if we can make it to see them race the car. Keep your fingers crossed and maybe he'll win.
What are your FUN plans for the weekend?

I was over at Rocks in My Dryer this afternoon checking out Works for Me Wednesday and guess what I found. This is interesting and I think anyone who is married needs to step up to the challenge. It is called "The Challenge". Just take a peek and see if you are up to it.

We are going to be a very stinky family this week, if the water situation is not fixed soon. I did get a shower at 10pm last night at my dad's house. But we woke up to torrential rainstorms. We did find out the reason for no water. They are replacing the holding tank in our community well. So do you think it will be fixed in the rain and lightning today? Probably not. Laundry is still accumulating and now the dishes are too. But what's a girl to do? I guess try to catch up on some organizing and scrapbooking.

Today was craaaazy! Of course, is there a Monday that is not crazy? Little J is on the waiting list for a private preschool for next year. He was 6th on the waiting list. At 11:25am, I received a call from the school. The girl says, "It is open registration and we have 5 spaces left. It is first come, first serve." So, I called my dear hubby. He says "YES"! I turn to Little J and say, "We are in a race with other mommies and we've got to get ready and go." We make it to the school by 11:50 and we are now the proud recipients of the last space. Little J is so excited. He tried to take his back pack out of the car when we got there. But... the madness doesn't end there.
We get home and NO WATER! Thankfully, we had already eaten lunch. But NO WATER means NO SHOWER and NO LAUNDRY! So my mountains of laundry are growing higher and higher.
So I'll climb that mountain tomorrow. What do you do when there's no water. Go to the park. And pray the water returns.
A fun afternoon but when we returned NO WATER! So still no shower and an ever-growing pile of laundry. But tomorrow is a new day. And I, for one, hope it brings WATER!
And to end this Madness on a funny note. While I was racing to put Little J's socks and shoes on, he picked up a baby toy and exclaimed...

Gman is playing the fiddle. The librarian at the elementary school started a program called YAMS (Young Appalachian Musicians). The volunteers are teaching the kids traditional music and to play by ear. Gman is doing great. We went to a jam session tonight at Oolenoy Community Center. It was great. Several of the YAMS showed up and they let them play along in the "circle" This is such a great experience for the kids.
