5 Ingredients or Less

Rocks In My Dryer is hosting another Works for Me Wednesday. This week has a theme. Recipes with 5 ingredients or less. So here is mine. And it's a favorite that is requested over and over around here.

Hamburger and Tater Tot Casserole

1 lb. ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small onion
1 bag tater tots
2 cups of shredded cheese (whatever you like)

Brown beef with chopped onion and drain. Place in the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish. Layer tater tots on top of beef. Then pour can of soup on tater tots and spread evenly. Bake covered at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until middle is bubbly. Sprinkle cheese on top and recover until cheese melts. This is a easy meal and very tasty.

I've done this one too...mine is a little different (& on my blog)..use Pepper Jack soup instead of mushroom...both are good and the kids do love it...

I like when people post recipes...esp. the easy ones with very few ingredients...Thanks....

We do this except I use cream of celery soup mixed with one can of milk. I add the 16 oz. bag of frozen french green beans. Do not add any onion, though. My husband loves this. Another meal brought for birth of baby that he loved.
