Out of the Mouths of Babes

Yesterday morning, I threw on a baseball cap to take the older boys to school because my hair looked so awful.
This was the conversation that followed:
Jack: "Is that your hat?"

Me: "Yes, why?"

Jack: "Your hat look stupid!"
At least he is honest.

Don't ya' just love it when your kids are honest? My youngest said that a lady had a very large booty one day out loud while we were in Target. I wanted to hide! When I told her, we don't say things like this ... she said, well it's true.

You know you can count on them to keep you humble and that they won't let you out in public with things in your teeth or anything

Wait! I know, next time go gel your hair up really crazy and take them. Tell them that you were going to wear your baseball cap since your hair was all funky but it looks stupid.

I love kids. They are naturally honest and can sometimes get you into trouble too.
